The Coral Sea Resort is excellent - the staff are very helpful and the food, drinks, beach, swimming pools and entertainment are all very good.
They have a great Animation Team - we particularly liked Mido, Mohammed and Samo. They all work very hard to make guests feel welcome and cared for, as well as providing entertainment and activities.
There are several companies that provide trips and excursions as well as the tour operator. We used Aaron Waves and we would highly recommend them. They can be found by the jetty which is on the beach. We would definitely like to go back there very soon. Many thanks to all the staff.

I stayed there last week with my wife and 3 other couples and we had a fantastic time! Nothing really negative to report about the Coral Sea Resort. The food, beer, wine and spirits was superb, as were the staff. No real entertainment was laid on but when you go in a party of 8, you make your own. I would definitely go back.

This was mine and my families first sort of holiday (the last was some 10 years ago). Was a bit difficult when we do not know how to speak English properly, but the people were really nice.
The beach was really close, the Corals were also really nice and We also went snorkeling often. The food was really good, and always found something to eat for everyone.
The prices were also really low and the holiday was just perfect.

OMG it was amazing! We got back early hours of this morning and was an excellent experience. The staff, animation team, food, accommodation everything was fab.
The animation team was the best Nani, Nikki, Mariah, GG were amazing and I do recommend this resort to any one that plans on staying in Egypt.
The night life is amazing the animation team take you out to the clubs it is great for couples, families and for the older people. They have kids club entertainment ever night for kids, then from 9 o'clock it's adults bingo or quiz nights. Everything is just so accommodating. People are very welcoming and I am definitely without a doubt going there again. Ignore the rubbish comments because there is seriously nothing wrong with this resort! Thank you everyone at Coral Sea Resort for everything you were great, see you all soon love yahh ! x

What can I say, great holiday had by all!!! The beach was great so quiet, the snorkelling just off the jetty was fab, my 11 year old son went off there with his mates and we had no worries letting them go on their own.
The Animation team did well, trying to get everyone involved and not offended if you didnt, think Nikki, Nani, Dyln, Peace and the great Gigi were fantastic. The hotel, nice and clean, yes there were parts that needed an update but you get that everywhere, all the staff from the cleaners, pool cleaners, bar staff and waiters all friendly and pleasant.
All in all we had a great holiday and wouldnt hesitate to go back.

Coral Sea is a fantastic resort, made all the better by the entertainment team.. was very distressed to hear that Kimo,Shadow and Julia have left... We are looking to travel back in July and strongly urge you to reinstate Kimo, Shadow and Julia as they were all a great team.. Kimo especially is a big hit with all your guests you only have to see how many Facebook friends he has!!!!! BRING BACK ANIMATION

We have just come back from very pleasant 1 weeks stay at this hotel (we wish it was two weeks!). Located right by a very unspoilt beach and the hotel grounds itself is spacious with two swimming pools (one is heated). We went with two teenagers, it is just perfect for people with different needs. One can sunbathe by the pool (plenty of shades) while the other can snorkel off a lovely jetty and see the fantastic under water reefs etc, which is just five minutes walk away. I was very surprised to see the jetty staffed by a local marine person. As I hadn't snorkeled before, I found this reassuring knowing if anyone one was in difficulties, someone will be on hand to help. But more importantly they are there to protect the reefs.
Going back to the hotel, couple of negative things:
1:We were walking and the whole area (as there are lots grasses and plants) was being watered by sprinklers everywhere. No big deal except when I noticed the dreaded smell, systematic insecticide, the aerosols were everywhere and we could not avoid breathing in the very dangerous chemicals. There were white puddles on the paths, so I was not at all happy about it (they could have done this in the night), this was mid afternoon when everyone was walking about. This could have been an unfortunate 'one off".
2: The other thing was we did not go to the entertainments (our choice), but we still could not avoid the entertainment staff as they during the course of the day kept coming over to make jokes, to chat (all very staged), even during evening meals which was most annoying. They even kept asking me to give them good reviews even when I told them we do not go to the entertainments! Aaaaaah!
I am 'nit picking' really as the whole holiday was superb, hotel staff themselves were great, they could not be better or more helpful ! Food, cleanliness, safe environment etc.
Would we go again? definitely, if we can afford it!
Oh by the way, if you want a camel ride on the beach, agree on the price before you let the children go on it, or you can easily be ripped off. Still the children loved it!

Words can't describe how much I love this hotel and everybody that works there!! Been twice, going for the 3rd time this year, and I love it!!! I'll never go on holiday anywhere else!! I have been aged 19 and 20 and there has always been things for me to do!! Food great, accommodation great, can't fault the place in any way shape or form!!!!
Only thing I could suggest is single rooms because I would go every month on my own if i could haha xxx

I travelled with my family in May 2009 and had a fantastic time at the hotel. The food was excellent with lots of choice and no upset tummies!! The hotel is very clean and the staff were professional. The location was lovely and right on the beach. I am returning again on 23rd November and can't wait!!
